SBDCs are run by the U.S. Small Business Administration and offer free help to business owners and startups, providing a wide variety of information and guidance in central and easily accessible branch locations. Locate the nearest Small Business Development Center for counseling, training and tech help in all areas of business management, including finance, marketing, production, engineering, and feasibility studies. These are interest-free, deferred-payment loans of up to $35,000 and are guaranteed by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).
