Ariba Inc. The Group's principal activity is to provide enterprise spend management software solutions. Ariba Spend Management applications fall into three solution sets: Ariba Analysis Solutions provide strategic planning and analysis capabilities that leverage historical spending patterns; Ariba Sourcing Solutions enable the sourcing, negotiation and creation of contracts for products and services; and Ariba Procurement Solutions enable contract compliance for the purchase of goods and services and manages purchasing workflow on an ongoing basis. The Ariba Supplier Network connects buyers and suppliers via the Internet and offers electronic payment, catalog and content management, business document routing and multi-protocol translation. Ariba Solutions Delivery offers software implementation services and other strategic services. The Group operates in 22 countries in North America, Europe, Asia, Australia and Latin America. On 28-Jan-2003, the Group acquired Goodex AG.
